Los Negrales, Spain. On May 28, 2018, the Forge Claretian Renewal Encounter group in English has entered the third and final phase of the 75-day long renewal program. In the third phase, the group embraces the congregational process of transformation, missionaries going forth, being filled and sent by the Spirit. In this Phase, the members will reflect on the charismatic traits of the Claretians, share and learn about the missionary activities of various Major Organisms represented in the group, and walk the footsteps of Father Claret and Brother Martyrs in Barbastro and Catalonia.
The second phase focused on the following of Christ in community. The reflections in this phase centered on the vows, Eucharist, and community living. The core experience of the phase was a pilgrimage to the Holy Land, walking the land of Jesus Christ and his band of disciples, meditating on his mysteries. In this phase, the group also visited Colmenar Viejo, interact with the student community and senior Claretians. The first phase had focused on being missionaries with Spirit, adorers of the Father.
The Forge group continues to keep the entire Congregation in its prayers, and it requests the spiritual accompaniment of the Congregation in their journey of renewal.
